HSA & FSA Guide
Use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) on Strukmyer products to stretch your pre-tax dollars on the medical essentials you already need.
How it works
- Browse our HSA/FSA Eligible collection — look for the badge on each product page.
- At checkout, enter your HSA or FSA debit card just like any other card. Most major plans are accepted.
- If your card is not accepted, pay with any card. You will receive an itemized Strukmyer receipt formatted for benefits substantiation.
- Submit that receipt to your plan administrator for reimbursement.
What is HSA/FSA eligible?
Under IRS guidelines and the CARES Act, the following Strukmyer categories are typically eligible:
- Bandages, gauze, and wound dressings
- Hydrocolloid acne patches (as drug-free wound dressings)
- Silicone scar sheets
- Burn gels and hydrogel dressings
- 4% CHG antimicrobial skin cleansers
- Lidocaine pain relief creams
- Medical compression socks (with a Letter of Medical Necessity in some plans)
- TENS units
- Post-surgical and postpartum recovery kits
Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN)
Some products — like compression socks — may require a Letter of Medical Necessity from your provider for reimbursement. We partner with Truemed to make LMNs easy. Look for the Truemed option at checkout on eligible products.
Plan rules vary
HSA/FSA eligibility ultimately depends on your specific plan. Always confirm with your benefits administrator if you are unsure. Strukmyer cannot guarantee acceptance by any specific plan.
Why pay pre-tax?
For most U.S. earners, using HSA/FSA funds saves roughly 25–35% on every eligible purchase — effectively turning a $50 first-aid restock into a ~$33 cost. Over a year, that adds up.
